    T. reupinatum is considered as native in Greece (VPG, Euro+Med). According to Strid (2016b) in the Atlas of the Aegean Flora: T. resupinatum is native in the Mediterranean and SW Asia, and widely naturalised elsewhere (i.e., in non-mediterranean parts of Europe) (Raus 2020, pers. comm.).
    Infraspecific taxonomy is accepted on varietal level (see, e.g., Buttler & al. 2018) as follows:
