Description

Tree up to 30 m tall, hemi-epiphytic or (secondarily?) terrestrial. internal hairs absent. Leaves spirally arranged; stipules 2-4 cm long, ± densely whitish to brownish puberulous, caducous. Ovary red.

Taxonomy

This species shows clear affinities to F. crassiramea.
