Description

Large flaky barked buttressed tree. Parts entirely glabrous or ovary pubescent. Leaves 6-12 by 2.5-7 cm, elliptic-lanceolate to ovate, ± falcate, coriaceous; Stamens c. 35, subequal, slightly shorter than style; Panicle to 3 cm long, slender, 1-axillary or terminal, singly branched; Ovary ovoid, with obscure stylopodium and short broad style.
