Description

Tree up to 25 m, 30 cm ø. Leaves oblong to lanceolate, 5-15 by 2-5 cm, sometimes obtuse, mostly acute to ± acuminate at apex, obtuse to acute, sometimes a little attenuate at base, margin entire or ± finely denticulate; Inflorescences terminal, made up of a varying number of many-flowered, ± shortened cymes, sometimes separate cymes in the axils of normal leaves; Sepals elliptic to obovate, 6-8 by 3-4 mm. Petals obovate to obovate-lanceolate, 6-8 by 2½-4½ mm. Ovaries 0.7-0.8 by 0.5-0.7 mm; Fruits up to 7 by 6 mm.
