Notes

Although the description is very brief, the said provenance said to be ‘Archip. Ind.’, it is not improbable that M. pusillum is indeed a Myriophyllum, possibly M. tetrandrum ROXB. Unfortunately the type material could even as early as 1900 not be located. All later records refer to sterile specimens, those by MIQUEL (1860) and KURZ are according to Mr PHILCOX (in lift.) probably Limnophila (Scrophulariaceae).
