Description

Shrubby treelet, 1.5 m high, several stems together; Leaves 7-8-jugate; Inflorescences axillary, 13-16.5 cm long, with long branches, laxly flowered. Flowers known from young buds only. Sepals hairy on both sides. Petals with scales. Stamens 8, anthers glabrous.

Asia-Tropical, Central Prov present, Papua New Guinea present
Malesia: Papua New Guinea (Central Prov.).

Notes

This species resembles in some aspects C. curvidens, but differs greatly in hairiness and in the peculiar fruits with acute apices and bases; it is known from the type only.
