Description

Herbaceous or at base subwoody climbers, with perennial rootstock or tubers, in Malesia largely glabrous; Leaves: Flowers: Ovary narrowly ellipsoid, glabrous or hairy; Fruit carnose, glabrous, hairy or scabrous. Seeds several, little compressed or nearly globose, smooth (elsewhere sculptured).
