Dioecious climbing or twining shrubs, the wood with large porous vessels. Leaves spirally arranged, entire or coarsely lobed (Mal.), generally minutely papillose-tubercled on both faces, nerves palmate to pinnate. Flowers sessile, arranged in heads or umbels;
