Malesia: Papua New Guinea. Known from two collections by C. King (second is n. 430).
Notes
A specimen of King 101 at Bogor is P. tuberculatum. The latter differs from P. wariense in having sori near costules and small caducous indusia. The sori of the type of P. wariense are not quite mature.
