Petals unequal with the carina boat-shaped, or equal, (sub)glabrous outside. Stamens 8 (-10), filaments free or up to 6 mm connate, densely woolly hairy. Ovary glabrous to hairy; Fruit indéhiscent, pear-shaped to ovoid, large. Seeds 8-more, large;
