Morphology
Material from Sulawesi and the Moluccas is slightly different: the rhizome is thinner, 2-3 mm thick, with few (4-6) vascular strands and no or few, mainly central, sclerenchyma strands, and a peripheral sclerified sheath. Rhizome scales 3-7 by 1.5-3 mm, whitish. Sori confluent to transverse coenosori.
