Leaves spiral, simple, entire, petioled.
Inflorescences axillary, paniculate.
Flowers bisexual.
Petals 5 (or 4), imbricate, glabrous except the sparsely hairy margin.
Stamens twice the number of petals;
Ovary subglobose, pilose;
Distribution
Asia-Tropical: Borneo present; Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present)
Monotypic; so far known only from Malesia: Malay Peninsula and Borneo.
