Description
Tree, 10-20 m high, dbh up to 30 cm.
Leaves 1-jugate;
Inflorescences 1-7 cm long, densely hairy, glabrescent;
Sepals ovate, 1-1.3 by 1-1.6 mm.
Petals absent.
Stamens 5 or 7;
Fruits transversely triangular ellipsoid, c. 8 by 8 mm, at base narrowed into a short stipe.
Seeds partly covered by a sarcotesta with a narrow free margin.
