Description

Trees 15-20 m high, dbh 20-38 cm. Leaves 4-7-jugate; Inflorescences axillary or pseudoterminal, 5-19.5 cm long, with long patent branches, laxly flowered; Sepals persisting, suborbicular, outside appressed-hairy except rim, margin ciliate and with reddish glands, inside with few hairs at the base, outer 2.2-2.3 by 1.3-2.4 mm, scarious rim narrow, inner 2.6-3 by 2-2.4 mm, scarious rim wide. Petals irregular-ovate to almost orbicular, dentate, 1.1-1.7 by 1.1-1.2 mm, outside appressed-hairy, inside glabrous; Stamens 9, not exserted; Ovary 2-celled, outside hairy;
