Description

Tree up to 16 m tall or shrub, mostly hemi-epilithic, sometimes hemi-epiphytic, deciduous. internal hairs absent or present (few). Leaves spirally arranged to subdistichous; stipules 0.5-1 cm long, brown subtomentose to puberulous, drying brown, caducous. Ovary partly red.
