Description
Usually taller herbs, sometimes forming open cushions, without glandular hairs.
Inflorescence richly branched, many-flowered, sometimes reduced to 1 or 2 flowers.
Flowers usually 5-merous.
Petals 3-4 mm, obtuse, shorter than the sepals, always longer than the episepalous filaments.
