Thottea tricornis

Description

Erect shrub, up to 2 m high. Leaves charta-ceous or subcoriaceous, elliptic, lanceolate, obovate-oblong, or oblanceolate, 20-30 by 8.5-16 cm; Inflorescences in the axils of foliage leaves, racemi- or paniculiform, up to 5 cm long, pubescent; Stamens in 2 whorls, upper row 6-10, lower 10-14; Capsules slender, rather long, 15-25 cm long, slightly curved or twisted, 4-angular, densely pubescent or velvety. Seeds oblong, 4-5 by 2 mm, trigonous, coarsely granulate.

Asia-Tropical: Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present), Chawng present, Malacca present, Pahang present, Peninsular Thailand present, Perak present, Selangor present
Peninsular Thailand (Chawng), and Malesia: Malay Peninsula (Perak, Pahang, Selangor, Malacca).
