Description

Scandent shrubs or woody climbers. Leaves ± ovate to elliptic, base 3-7-nerved with the side nerves sometimes supra-basal. Inflorescence axillary or supra-axillary, cymose or thyrsoid. Seed horseshoe-shaped, narrow, embedded in endosperm.
