Description
Herb or undershrub, 0.30-1 m.
Leaves membranaceous, ovate to rhomboid, 6-8 by 2.5-4 cm, acute or acuminate, serrate, glabrescent on both surfaces, base, acute;
Flowers 6-10(-30) in a verticillaster, in terminal or upper-axillary spikes, 8-15 cm long.
Stamens exserted.
Ovary very shortly stalked.
