Description

Tree up to 25(-35) m tall, hemi-epiphytic (or terrestrial as planted tree), deciduous or evergreen. internal hairs absent. Leaves spirally arranged; stipules 0.5-1 cm long, ciliolate or glabrous, caducous. Ovary red-brown.

Asia-Tropical, From Pakistan to S China present, N Thailand to Vietnam present
From Pakistan to S China, N Thailand to Vietnam; in Malesia cultivated.
