Description

Shrubs with slender branchlets. Leaves short-petioled, nerves ascending at an angle of c. 80°. Stipules acicular. Inflorescences terminal, many-flowered, compound racemes; Flowers ☿. Sepals 5. Petals 5, white or pinkish, purplish at base, in anthesis soon surpassing the sepals in size. Ovary 3-carpelled; Seeds not winged.
