    Taxon info

Ranunculus radinotrichus is a rare local endemic known only from a small area in Levka Ori, growing on stony calcareous slopes with other species of similarly restricted distribution, such as Centranthus sieberi, Dianthus sphacioticus and Nepeta sphaciotica. It appears to be a distinct species, perhaps related to R. fenzlii from SC & SE Anatolia and more distantly to the R. montanus group from the Balkan Peninsula and C Europe.
