    This is represented by var. clypeata (straight and stiff hairs in the central part of the silicula) and var. eriocarpa (long, whitish hairs concealing the silicula and giving it a hirsute-villous appearance). The two varieties are completely mixed throughout their total range and cannot be regarded as geographical races (subspecies).
