    Tilia tomentosa is native in SE Europe and NW Anatolia, and often planted elsewhere as an ornamental street or park tree. In Greece it is a constituent of deciduous woodland especially in the NC parts of the mainland, and is easily spotted due to the whitish underside of the leaves.A
