    Notes

    A. serpentinica was described from a serpentine road embankment north of Lamia, while the few known sites are distributed between Mts Othrys and Tamasio. It is distinguished from A. meteorica, the geographically closest taxon of the group, by a set of characters such as indumentum features, broader involucres, longer central florets and achenes.
