Placement status: name or taxon excluded (unspecific) (Assumed occurrence of this W & C Mediterranean subspecies (Euro+Med 2006–, derived from Tutin & al. 1980: 317) in Greece not substantiated by herbarium material so far (Strid & Tan 1991: 862).)
