    Native to EC & E Europe and W Siberia, absent from Greece. This species has been erroneously reported from KK (Kriti) by Sieber & Gandoger, but this is certainly wrong and based on misidentified material (perhaps of Artemisia arborescens (Vaill.) L., – TR 22.01.20), see Halácsy (1902: 75) and Rechinger (1944: 635).
