Description

Tree up to 20 m tall. Branchlets 2-3 mm thick, minutely puberulous. Stipules (0.3-)0.7-1.7 cm long, minutely puberulous, caducous; petiole 0.3-1.5(-2.5) cm long, minutely puberulous; blade coriaceous, narrowly elliptic (to linear), 2.7-10(-16) x 0.7-2.5 cm, apex faintly acuminate to subacute, base acute to obtuse, margin entire, almost glabrous above, (almost) glabrous beneath; secondary veins 8-16 pairs, usually obscure above. Figs usually several together on short spurs, also below the leaves, globose, 0.3-0.4(-0.5) mm in diam., puberulous with appressed-brown hairs, at maturity peduncle 0.2-0.3 cm long; basal bracts 2, 1.5-2 mm long; ostiole ca. 1.5 mm in diam., slightly prominent.
