Description

Taller than the. type variety (to 28 cm), the base red-brown, lustrous, sheath base densely long-ciliate. Leaves narrow and ascending, 8-11 cm, blade flattened, ca. 1 mm wide, ciliolate. Spikes ca. 7 mm, narrowly ovoid, bract tips narrowed with thin, lacerate, broad borders, dorsal area pencil-thin.

Distribution
