Description

Acaulescent herb forming a rosette, no more than 2 cm tall. Leaves spathulate, 5-12 mm long, petiole and blade well defined; stipules 2-2.5 mm long, 4-5-partite; petiole 5-6 x 0.8-1 mm, hairy beneath; blade broadly obovate to circulate, 2-3 x 2-3 mm, glabrous or hairy beneath. Inflorescences 1-2-(-4) per plant, 3.5-10 cm long, (1-)3-6-flowered; peduncle erect, 3-6.5 cm long, glabrous or with few glandular sessile hairs. Flowers with sepals ovate, joined at base, 2.5 x 0.8 mm, margin entire, with glandular hairs outside; petals white or pink, spathulate, 3-3.5 mm long; stamens 3 mm long; pollen tetrad 90-130 µm diameter, spines and spinules well defined, spines 3.5 µm long, 6-14 µm2; ovary with 3 styles, bipartite near base. Seeds foveolate 0.30-0.35 x 0.15-0.2 mm, covered with granulate wax.
