Description

Acaulescent herb forming a rosette, no more than 3 cm tall. Leaves spathulate, 7-30 mm long, petiole and blade well defined; stipules 3.5-5 mm long, 5-7-partite; petiole 4-20 x 0.5-1 mm, hairy beneath; blade obovate, 3-10 x 1.5 mm, glabrous or hairy beneath. Inflorescences 1-5 per plant, 2-22 cm long, 2-9-flowered; peduncle erect or curved near base, 1-20 cm long, glabrous or with few sessile glandsFlowers with sepals ovate, joined at base, 1.5-4 x 0.5-1.5 mm, margin entire, glabrous or with few sessile glands outside; petals pink, spathulate, 2.5-4 x 0.5-1 mm; stamens 3-3.5 mm long; pollen tetrad 60-70 µm diameter, spines and spinules well defined, spine 1.5 µm long, 12-18 µm2; ovary with 3 styles, bipartite near base. Seeds papillose in more or less longitudinal rows, ellipsoid, 0.35-0.4 x 0.15-0.2 mm.
