2. One specimen (Anonymous collector, BM) was collected from Mt Ophir, Peninsular Malaysia, where many specimens of M. pectinata have been collected; detailed field observation and new collection is needed. 1 New Guinean specimens have small leaves with 11 pinnae and hairy costae.
