Description
Small to medium-sized tree up to 30 m, 60 cm ø.
Bark surface rough, grey-brown, often flaky.
Leaves coriaceous, glabrous, ovate-elliptic to elliptic-oblong, (5-)10-14(-20) by (2-)3-6(-8) cm, index 2½-3;
Stipules narrow ovate-acute, 2-3 by 1 mm.
Fruit ovoid, glabrous, including the beak 15-20 by 8-12 mm, beak up to 5 mm;
