Description

Tree up to 10 m, deviating by the inflorescences which are stiff panicles 6-9 cm long, terminal on the young leafy shoots, and composed of 6-10 racemes.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Laos (Laos present); Thailand (Thailand present); Vietnam (Vietnam present), NE India present, tropical Asia and elsewhere present
NE India, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam.. Commonly cultivated in tropical Asia and elsewhere. In Malesia only known in cultivation; the type is from a cultivated plant.
