Description

Tree to 6.1 m tall. Branchlets glabrous to densely puberulent, sparsely lenticellate or not, terete to weakly angled. Leaves: Inflorescence dichasial, mostly also with cincinnate branches, 3.2-11 cm long with axes 0.8-7.3 cm long and branches 1.2-2.5 mm wide, glabrous to densely puberulent; Sepals ovate or oblong, 1.7-2.5 by 1.6-1.7 mm, 1-1.6 times as long as wide, apex rounded, margin ciliate, glabrous to densely puberulent, glabrous inside. Stamens 8.5-12 mm from corolla base which is 0.3-0.5 of corolla tube length in rehydrated flowers; Ovaries 0.8-1.2 mm high, sparsely to densely pubescent on top; Fruit with a blunt hooked spur from about the middle of the fruit, 15-18 by 8-8.5 mm, spur c. 4 mm long, glabrous or sparsely puberulent.
