Alstonia beatricis

Description

Small tree 5 m high, 3 cm dbh. Branchlets glabrous. Leaves in whorls of 3; Inflorescence 3-6.5 cm long, many-flowered; Flowers: Sepals connate at the base for 0.75 mm, turbinate, c. 1.7 by 1 mm, apex rounded, ciliate, softly pubescent except at the fused part inside, erect, glaucous when dried. Stamens inserted at c. 1.3 mm from the base; Fruit unknown.

Asia-Tropical: New Guinea present, Papua present
Malesia: New Guinea (Papua).
