Description

hairs 0.1 mm long present on lower surface of costae, sparse and variable elsewhere; hairs on upper surface of costae short and slender, fewer on main veins, a few near margins;

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sabah present), NE India present, SW China present, northern half of Malay Peninsula present, southwards to Burma and Thailand present
NE India to SW China, southwards to Burma and Thailand; in Malesia: northern half of Malay Peninsula (3 collections), Borneo (one collection from Sabah).

Morphology

The Sabah specimen differs in longer hairs on lower surface of costae and many short slender hairs between veins, also in the presence of small fragile indusia on some sori.
