Description

Tree or shrub, up to 2 m high. Branchlets smooth, greyish brown to greyish black; Leaves 2-4-jugate; Inflorescences axillary, thyrsoid, not branching at the base, to 2.5 cm long, puberulous; Flowers c. 5 mm in diam. Sepals: Petals obovate, 2-3 by 1-2 mm, outside velutinous, proximally pubescent, inside glabrous; Stamens 8; Fruits obcordate, 1-1.5 by 1-1.2 cm, outside rugose, laxly puberulous, inside smooth, along the sutures densely setose; Seeds not observed.
