2Male buds fusiform or long-urceolate, (8-)9-10.5 by 2.5-3 mm; androecium 5.5-7.5 mm long, sterile apex 0.2 mm or less, or absent. Fruits 3-4 cm long. — E Papua New Guinea, at 350-1300 m.
2'Male buds narrowly ± tubiform, (10—)13—14 by 1.5-2 mm, narrowed in the upper and basal 1/3; androecium 8-9 mm long, sterile apex 0.5 mm long. Fruits 2.5-3 cm long. — Northern New Guinea, at 15-400 m.
