Description

Tree 6-35 m, without stilt-roots. Leaves membranous or chartaceous, drying brown or some greenish brown, elliptic to lanceolate, broadest at or below the middle, or more or less parallel-sided, 3.5-13 cm long, base cuneate to attenuate, apex acute or acuminate, rarely obtuse;

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sarawak present), Nunukan Is present, S, SE, E, NE Kalimantan present
Malesia: Borneo (S, SE, E, NE Kalimantan, Nunukan Is., Sarawak).

Morphology

This variety is characterized by small chartaceous leaves with scarcely visible nerves and venation.
