Description

Small tree to 7 m, young branches glabrous. Leaves glabrous, narrowly elliptic to lanceolate, membranaceous, 9-13 by 2.8-4.8 cm, base narrowed into the petiole, apex narrowed into an indistinct and obtuse apiculum, margin entire or slightly undulate, lateral veins rather indistinct, steeply ascending; Inflorescences axillary, supra-axillary or terminal, glabrous, singly or in groups, either few-flowered cymes or more branched open, cymose, panicles up to 8 cm long;

Asia-Tropical, Chimbu Prov present, Kerowagi Distr present, Papua New Guinea present
Malesia: Papua New Guinea (Chimbu Prov.: Kerowagi Distr.).

Notes

The narrowly elliptic to lanceolate leaves have a thin texture and dry to a dull dark green. The inflorescences are similar to those of K. fugax.
