Acrocarpus fraxinifolius


Tree 20-30(-50) m high and 0.6-1 (-4) m in diam. Leaves rather large, petiole and main rachis up to 80 cm; pinnae (2-)3-5 pairs, secondary petiole and rachis up to c. 45 cm long. Inflorescences up to 32 cm long; pedicels 4-10 mm. Petals dark red, oblong or slightly ob- lanceolate, 5-9 by 1-2.5 mm, puberulous on both surfaces. Stamens: filaments 15-18 mm; anthers 2-3 mm long. Ovary 12-15 mm long, loosely hairy except the apical part. Seeds c. 6.5 by 5 mm.
