Asia-Tropical: Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present); Sumatera (Sumatera present)
Malesia: Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia.
Morphology
Perianths are generally 3- (or 4-)lobed, but occasionally 2-lobed; the shape of the mature male bud is also variable, and the pedicel is articulated or not.
