Description

Tree 12-30 m, 20-50 cm ø. Branchlets initially densely yellowish brown to fulvous-pubescent by erect simple hairs, later glabrescent, whitish grey, densely or sparsely lenticellate; Leaves thin-coriaceous (10-)15-20(-24) by (3-)5-7(-8) cm (index 2½-3½), broadest at or rarely above the middle; Stipules linear-acute or broadly spathulate, 7-10 by 2-3 mm, soon caducous. Inflorescence male or androgynous, densely yellowish brown pubescent with erect simple hairs;
