Archidendron rufescens

Description

Tree up to 21 m high. Branchlets terete, densely rusty tomentose, glabrescent. Leaves: Stipules inconspicuous, rigid, c. 1 mm. Inflorescences cauliflorous, rusty tomentose, consisting of racemes aggregated into panicles to 32 cm, lateral branches 13-19 cm, peduncles up to 7 cm long; Flowers male, penta- or hexamerous. Stamens cream, 55 -65 mm, tube equalling the corolla-tube. Ovaries not seen (5-7 and villous according to Mohlenbrock, l.с.).
