Description
Tree up to 20 m tall.
internal hairs few to abundant, whitish to brownish.
Leaves (sub)opposite or spirally arranged, pairs on horizontal twigs usually unequal;
stipules semi-amplexicaul, 0.5-1 cm long, sparsely minutely strigillose, caducous (or subpersistent).
Distribution
Ambon present, Asia-Tropical: Maluku (Maluku present); Philippines (Philippines present); Sulawesi (Sulawesi present), Halmahera present, Sangi Islands present, Talaud Islands present
Philippines (all islands), Celebes (incl. Sangi Islands), Moluccas (Talaud Islands, Halmahera, Ambon).
