Description

Glabrous. Leaves opposite; lamina ovate, 4-12 by 2-5 cm, weakly cordate at the base, sessile, rounded to acuminate and acute at the apex, somewhat glossy above, dull below; venation pinnate with the midrib prominent on both sides and the main laterals distinct above. Inflorescencess at the nodes, a raceme of 5-10 opposite evenly spaced pairs of triads with all flowers sessile or the lateral flowers shortly pedicellate; axis 30- 55 mm long; peduncles of the triads 1-2 mm long, secund; pedicels of the lateral flowers 0-0.5 mm long.
