Acacia retinodes

Description

Unarmed, erect, often very much-branched shrub, 1-5 m high. Branchlets trigonous at the apex, when older ribbed, usually glabrous. Flowers light yellow, pentamerous, bisexual. Seeds longitudinal, oblong, funicle dilated, extending round the seed and bent back on the same side, encircling it into a double fold.

Asia-Tropical: Jawa (Jawa cultivated), Australasia: Victoria (Victoria present), S Australia present, extratropical E Australia present
Australia (extratropical E Australia, Victoria, S Australia); in Malesia: in Java frequently cultivated as an ornamental.
