Malesia: Papua New Guinea; known from type and Streimann & Kairo NGF 44469, also from Wau Subdistrict, at 1500 m, in aban- doned garden site (K).
Notes
The short blunt hairs on these plants resemble those on Chingia supraspinigera. They appear to develop a waxing covering of their tips when old.
