Usually more robust. Leaves often broader, up to 18 mm wide.

Distribution

Asia-Temperate: Japan (Kyushu present), Asia-Tropical, Bengal present, Danau swamp present, Japan present, Rawah Tembaga near Bekasi present, SE. Asia present, W. Java present
Insufficiently known, probably rare, though widely distributed in SE. Asia: Bengal, Indo-China; in Japan (Kyushu) probably introduced; in Malesia: W. Java (Danau swamp and Rawah Tembaga near Bekasi).
